Everything- welcoming, friendly and helpful owners, location, rooms, daily housekeeping, beautiful view, etc. Antahkarana is very close to La Chakira and El Tablón, and still relatively close to El Purutal- everything in a walkable distance. the main Archeological Park as well, less than an hour on foot. (there are some tours of course, we just prefer sightseeing without them). Rooms are big, water is hot, shared kitchen is functional (it seems that there will be a kitchen for guests, which will be even better). In general, a great place and great people. Highly recommended!

We haven't a negative thing to say about this hostel! It was fantastic value for money, comfy and has lots of chill areas. The rooms, bathroom and kitchen were clean. Excellent location and helpful staff. Rapid laundry services. Quiet time from 10pm was adhered and meant we had an excellent sleep.

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed in. So nice and cozy and very social atmosphere. Beutiful garden with hammocks, perfect for relaxing, and in the evening so cozy with a fire in the living room. Loved the dogs and cats. And so friendly and helpful manager and volentar. Perfect location, just a 20 minute walk to the city center.

A beautiful big old house on the outskirts of town, with nice gardens and gazebos to relax in. One of the nicest dorms I have ever stayed in, very spacious, bright, with antique furniture and no bunk beds! Harry was very friendly and the dogs and cats were super sweet.

Lovely hostel in a quite area of San Agustin, very cozy and clean, beautiful garden with hammocks and beds, super friendly and welcoming staff, veery spacious dorms with super comfy beds (probably the biggest 4 bed dorm I've ever seen), in the morning you can hear the birds and in the night the cicadas, lovely cats and dogs, hot water for shower, you can order food from different restaurants, such a beautiful place to relax for a few days and pretty hard to leave

Peaceful location, walkable distance to the Parque Arqueologico amid coffee farms and such. Greeted by numerous pets and the charming owners, Armando and Amparo, who were attentive to our needs and did well to deal with our imperfect Spanish. We stayed in an freestanding cottage built mostly by Armando with impressive materials, craftsmanship and taste. It was a homey experience; we would happily have stayed longer.

A beautiful spot high above the clatter of the town. Very special bamboo construction. The owner Carlos is a super cool guy. He has a sweet dog and a few nice cats. He was very helpful in guiding and suggesting places for me to visit and explore.

Amazing place, felt at home! Harry the manager is the best, he took care of me when I was sick he is so nice !!! The garden is beautiful, the fire during the night is so cozy, and loved the cats and dogs :)
