This beautiful accommodation is probably one of the best you can book in Minca. The house is newly built and has 3 rooms. The rooms are big and comfortable and the view from the shower is unbelievable. The house is also really clean and nice. We think it is especially suitable for couples, but feel free to book it if you are alone and you want to have a great stay in minca. 😉 The owner Arnaud also lives in the house most of the time. He is super friendly, an excellent chief and like a friend to us after this great stay. He gave us many useful tips for Minca and the surrounding area. He also knows a lot about local restaurants, prices, taxis and what you can do. In addition, he probably has the sweetest dog on earth, named tipi. She is a bit afraid of lightning and therefore needs a lot of attention when there is lightning. Our first plan was to stay only 4 days, but after two days we decided to stay a bit longer in this area and this great accommodation. You have a breathtaking view over the jungle/forest to Santa Marta and the ocean. Arnaud offers dinner and breakfast for a good price or you can cook for yourself. You can find everything what you need in the kitchen. You can drink water, coffee and tea free of charge all the time. After a total stay of 8 days, we have definitely found our second home in Minca. We would definitely stay here again. To Arnaud: Thanks a lot for having us and you’re always welcome in Germany if you need a good place to stay in Dresden.

EVERYTHING WAS NICE! The pod was super comfortable and nicely furnished. The fact that you could see sun up and/or sun down from either your: terrace, jacuzzi or bed was incredible. It is a coffee plantation, so you are surrounded by nature and coffee fields. Good place to write a book, no distractions.

This is a great hotel. Very nice rooms with balconies and comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful. Its not breakfast here but easy to get breakfast at the place right next door if you dont want to go down to central Minca. I would love to stay here again!

Looking for a quite place surrounded by nature but still walking distance from Minca, we came across Sunset Serranata. Luckily there was availability exactly on the one night that we had no accommodation pre-booked. This gem is recently built by the French owner Theo. The contact via Booking was very clear with great tips for things to do and how to get to the accommodation. Theo was waiting for us at the house to show us the beautiful place. A large terrace overlooking the mountains and Santa Marta in the distance. The bathtub on the terrace is a great add on for enjoying a drink while listening to jungle sounds. If you like to spot birds this is a great pick. We spotted Toucans behind the house just from the deck. Theo is the best and will do his utmost best to accommodate you in the best possible way. He can also deliver you wine, beer etc on request so you don’t have to search for it and carry it up from Minca. The wifi works great, kitchen sufficiently equipped and the warm water seems unlimited. If we go back to Minca this will certainly be the place we’d stay again. But much longer.

I like EVERYTHING. Hukumeizi is magical. Sleeping to the sound of the jungle, the river... extremely relaxing. Slowing down like there's no life outside of Hukumeizi, that's just what we needed. Jorge was an amazing host, always so extra special with us. And Luisa and Emilse, those cooks! I think they've taken Jorge's vision of amazing food to a whole new level. I love Hukumeizi. Missing it already. It feels like one of those places that changed you, touched you forever, you know? Can't wait to get back. I will go back to Hukumeizi for a longer stay. I have to. Having the worst hangover of my life since I left Hukumeizi, and I didn't even drink a single drop of alcohol. PS: Emilio is a great artist.

The owners are so friendly and helpful. They let me leave my bag there for the day after I had checked out because my flight didn't leave until night. It's also a great location. Close enough to the centre of town that it is a short easy walk, but not right in the centre so that it is too noisy. They also have some very cute and friendly dogs and cats! Nice quiet common area to relax or get some work done.

The staff from arrival were exceptionally kind. From the smilling jolly Janina, (in the shop) who help with extra nights stay. The grandmother who did some washing at modest cost and the young grandson who opened the main door, when we were slow with the key. You could make your own breakfast, and constant coffee avalible all day. Relaxed atmosphere with cats and a dog.

This little gem was such a lovely place to stay. The staff are amazing, the room was comfy, big and generally lovely, the courtyard was really nice to chill in of an evening with a lovely outdoor cooking area. To top it all off the dogs and cats are amazing and super friendly. They let us check in early which was a bonus. Right in the centre of town so you have everything at your feet. Once the pool is complete it will be absolutely perfect. Nice little shop right outside as well.

The location is great, and all the staff is super friendly. There are 3 cats and a dog on the facilities, and they are the greatest!! Small shared kitchen, but well equipped. You can save some money by cooking there
