Our experience here was truly fantastic. The place is ideal for relaxation, with only a few rooms, making the atmosphere intimate and comfortable. The rooms are spacious, and the services, restaurant, provided by the hotel are excellent and reasonably priced. A special mention to the wonderful reception staff—they were all charming and extremely helpful. You’ll genuinely want to stay here forever. I sincerely hope to return soon. Amazing stay at Zakua! Juan, André and their family were great hosts. Collected us and dropped us off in Santa Marta and Tayrona park. Near to the enchanted lagoon, Juan took us on a tour to the lagoon which I would 100% recommend. Had so much fun and the tent was comfy and had a TV and air con. The pool is great to cool off in too! Thanks again for our lovely stay

Beautifully kept garden, variety of seating arrangements at the beach including hammocks. Quiet place to relax located at the end of a dirt road. The beach is beautiful and still very natural. Nice for walks and just watching the waves or reading a book. If you want more action, I think there are some hostels with acitivities up the road. The food was excellent and varied (try the Cazuela!) and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant service is SO slow though, for all except beer and pizza - I like to think of it as "running on beach time" .... Rooms were well equipped with good bed, AC and nice private terrace - all facilities were super clean.
