The best place to stay in Diest and a fantastic place to stay in Flemish Brabant in general. High standards, from the room to breakfast, and great hospitality by the hosts that make you feel right at home. Rooms: spacious room, very tastefully done with a large, confy bed and confy bedding, very high standard bathroom with a mirror all the way up to the ceiling, air-con, blinds on all windows including the skylight, built-in wardrobe with enough hangers and a (very stylish) separate bathroom. The TV can be moved around in the room freely. Hotel facilities: both rooms are adjacent to a veranda and the garden, both very cozy and inviting. Ideal to work there (solid WiFi and plugs nearby), also due to the adjacent kitchen with free coffee and tea. Every room also comes with a fridge in the kitchen where you can buy drinks for cheap (minibar equivalent). Location: very central in Diest, everything nearby from shopping, supermarket to various parks. Swimming pool, tennis and basketball courts also nearby. Everything is walkable. Multiple good restaurants are also within walking distance. Parking is also not a problem. Breakfast: a very special breakfast made with great attention to detail and served at the table every day. Nothing to be desired, from fresh smoothies and orange juice to good coffee, artisan cheeses, fresh fruits, changing joghurts, a large variety of breads and baked goods. They also served fresh egg dishes/breakfast eggs according to your preference (every day). It doesn't get better than that! The best part: the increadibly hospitable hosts, Annick and Jeroen! The room is really spacious. The bed is really comfortable. The heating system is wonderful. We thought it would be cold at night but we even had to open the window for a while. The breakfast is really satisfying. Special thanks to the lady who was on duty on 6th July in the morning. She was really nice and helpful.

Amazing building - in a converted mill, huge rooms, lovely products (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body moisturiser, amenity kits) and a lovely breakfast. Sabine and the lady who served us breakfast were both so lovely. We’ll be back!

An ideal spot for an enroute stop as well as for longer. The property is a preal. It is like living is a park. We certainly enjoyed the overwhelming hospitality as well as the dinner. The latter was a true blast. This place is run with a high level of dedication and we will be back!

We stayed here only for one night, because we had an invitation to a party in a nearby town and we regret that it was such a short stay. The place surprised us very positively. A kind the owner, who from the first moment helped and showed us around the facility. A room furnished very tastefully, very comfortable, large bed, coffee and tea in the room. At breakfast, we were served as a nice gentleman and the breakfast itself was very tasty. In addition, I want to praise the building itself, which is very well maintained inside and outside and the place where it is located. Blissed silence and quiet. Just a good relaxing time there. Farmyard , horses, goats , chickens , all animals contained but there to look at . Top friendly couple running it , couldn't fault anything . Coming to the end of a 10 000 k roadtrip around Eastern Europe so this was an excellent way to finish it . Top place to stay in . Marg & Clive .New Zealand
