The lodge is very well maintained and beautiful! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful! The accommodation and amenities was of a very high standard and we had an extremely comfortable and memorable stay! I would highly recommend this lodge!

They really made my birthday extra special so I really appreciate their efforts . The kitchen facilities had everything we needed & the chalet was very clean . A big 10/10 from me. The jacuzzi & braai area enabled us to bond nicely cos there is enough privacy for each chalet

All units comprise a seating area and a fully-equipped kitchenette with various cooking facilities, including a microwave, a toaster, a fridge and a stovetop. Some units feature a balcony and/or patio. What an amazing property. Communication with the owners was fantastic right from booking. The lodge was well located and easy to find, signposted clearly from every approach road. On arrival we were greeted with a lovely drink and a hot towel whilst we filled out some paperwork, and then we're promptly showed to our lodge. The property was immaculate, with a heart in petals on the bed, and other beautiful little touches for our arrival. The view from the decked area is simply stunning, and we had some incredible wildlife sightings from here alone; Giraffe, Zebra, Spotted Hyena, Warthog, Impala, Hartebeest etc! Arlington Brewery, and "The Slide" are both nearby, giving great options for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks if you don't want to go to the effort yourself. We will most definitely be back!

We loved being on the door step of the wild life and got to see a family of Warthogs. We loved the hot tub and the proximity that the place was to all that Dinokeng has to offer. The place is spotless and the warm welcome made the stay one of the best! The hosts are so attentive, responsive and lovely. We will definitely be back!

Staff on site can arrange airport transfers. Just about an hour and a half away from Johannesburg, we had a wonderful stay at Out of Africa. My Wife and I visited this lodge for our 5 year anniversary. If you book in advance, you can enjoy a fine dining experience on a Rovos Rail train carriage that's on the property. The hosts Monique and Ludger went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Would recommend this lodge if you want to escape the busy city life for a nice and relaxing holiday.
