Set in a beautiful waterfront location, Turtle Bay Lodge is a 20-minute drive from Luganville and a 25-minute drive from Santo-Pekoa International Airport. Situated half way to the famous Champagne Beach and a leisurely kayak from both the Riri and Matevulu Blue Holes it is the ideal place to experience Santo. Everything. Excellent service, in every way very well managed place with great eye for details and an atmosphere that makes it hard to leave. Our room was so comfy, cleaner than clean and beautifully decorated and furnished. The whole lodge is beautiful with lots of cozy places to relax. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner was great, everything we had during our 4 days was super delicious (also lots of yummy vegetarian options). There is no real beach but easy water access and lots of hammocks, chairs, lounges and sunbeds right by the sea overlooking beautiful turtle bay. Location was also a huge plus for us. Not too far from champagne beach, close to the blue holes and not too far from Luganville and the airport either. Having a rental car was great for us, but the lodge offers lots of tours, so it’s not a must have here. Finally the staff was just amazing, from housekeeping to restaurant/reception staff or the management itself - everyone was so friendly, helpful and did just a great job. This was not the most expensive place we stayed in in the south pacific region but by far the best so far. One of our favorite spots ever (and we do travel a lot all over the globe). Highly recommend!

Really stunning location, right on a pristine beach great for swimming. Very nice owners who can arrange transport to town or excursions. Very quiet and peaceful place. Yummy food!

Featuring a private beach area, garden and views of sea, Matevulu Lodge is located in Luganville, 24 km from SS President Coolidge. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. Had a lovely few days here. Felt very relaxed in the beach huts right on the beach, with some snorkelling and exploring the lagoon. The host is really nice and helpful, planning lots of trips for us (scuba diving, daytrips, transfers etc) and great local knowledge. The kitchen facilities are really good for self catering, and the breakfast was fresh (especially loved the pancakes one day!). The water is also safe to drink. The showers have hot water too, the WiFi was very fast, and reliable charging facilities. The location is perfect for visiting the blue holes easily (all 1000vt entrance). They have kayaks and SUPs to use. For Riri Hole (my favourite), it was amazing to paddleboard up the super clear river to the blue hole. And for Matevulu Hole it was only a 25 minute walk from the lodge. Transfer from the airport costs 3500vt total, but includes a stop at the supermarket for supplies (it’s difficult otherwise!) and SIM cards. Get cash out at the ATMs in Santo Airport. Overall a really great option for a short tropical escape whilst also experiencing lots of stunning attractions nearby. Thanks so much to the team!

The property was beautiful and in a wonderful location waking up to an amazing sunrise every morning was bliss! And inside had everything you could want and need!

The staff went out of their way to look after you. Kathy was great even doing our laundry. Whilst the property is a little out of town very easy to get a bus or taxi. Locally operated and great value for money.

Our host Esline was super nice and kind, giving us an upgrade and inviting us for a delicious dinner prepared by her. The housekeeping lady Lina and his family are so nice and sweet and they made our stay amazing. Ginger the dog is very nice too :) the rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped, right in front of the villas there is a nice and accessible spot for swimming (there is a wreck too), when the sea is calm it is a nice place to snorkel. Angelic the Owner was very warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. She looked after us, cooked us amazing food, and helped us create unforgettable moments.

Situated in Luganville, 13 km from SS President Coolidge, Freshwater Plantation Farm Stay features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a terrace. Among the various facilities of this property are a restaurant, a bar and a tennis court. Free WiFi is provided. Our stay at the freshwater Plantation farm stay was absolutely amazing! The bungallow is so beautiful, it is situated directly on the beach and has an amazing sea view. They also have a super nice restaurant, with delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). Try the chicken Parmiggiana! We really enjoyed the evenings with Vini and Klaas, to talk about interesting topics by a glass of wine. We did the diving at the coolidge, while we stayed at their accommodation and they drove us every time and picked us up. We also went snorkelling, right in front of the bungallow and the reef is pretty decent (we even saw morey eels and lion fish). It grows back slowly after the cyclone.
