I cannot add anything more positive to say about Dar El Medina that hasn't already been said. But I think special recognition should be given to all the staff I encountered who were friendly, professional and more than willing to give that extra something. This especially applies to Nede, who first checked me in and provided the historical perspective of the building. Also, the chef, Slah, not only cooked me an excellent dinner of fish couscous but talking with him in English was both enlightening and a pleasure. Finally, I wish to give extra mention to the awesome breakfast that was provided by a smiling Safa every morning. Not only was the breakfast delicious but also extremely filling. I would surely return to Dar El Medina given a chance.

Very well-kept (though built in 1996) property. AC is cool right enough. Huge outdoor pool. Fantastic spa with a sea-water pool, hammam, sauna.

This beautiful little hotel has the most tranquil feel. It was sparkling clean and the staff were so welcoming. I wish we could have stayed for more than one night.

Wonderful place, quiet, comfortable, amazing rooms - we were given an upgrade to the wonderful ottoman room which was super, featuring a little terrace with a sea view. Great location close to local shops, TGM station and beach and only 15-20 minutes from Tunis airport. There is free on street parking outside if you hire a car. Lovely decor and plenty of bedding and blankets. The owner was very friendly and responded quickly to questions. Good value for money, I’d recommend a stay here.

Apartment very clean, great decorating, lots of room, hot water, great bed for sleep. washer superb and all équipement one needs. warm and toasty as temp outside down to 5 c w windchill view from terrace 360 and serene. would be great place to sunbathe if weather warmer. in city center; one block from metro and across from mall and MonPrix grocery. beach only 5 min walk away.

The location was so so convenient; in the heart of Sidi Bou Said, all means of transportation available, very secure neighbourhood. Our flight was very early and we found a taxi in less then 5 minutes wait with very cheap cost ; about 10 dinars to the airport ( the equivalent of 2/3 pounds!) The flat was so clean, tidy and everything was available including a shopping bag! It was beautifully decorated with traditional artifacts and paintings. The furniture was so comfy and good quality. The host was fabulous and did his best to guide and support our smooth stay. Moez has provided even local snacks for the arrival day, yogurt, mineral wayer, his own produced olive oil, eggs, various fruits from his farm and local sweets...etc Moez was so so generous and not greedy at all. We were impressed by Moez' love and devotion for what he was doing and for working with people of different background. Moez recommended upon advice the best restaurants and shops in the local or even the wider area. I'm already planning my next booking for the summer holiday at the same tenancy. I would definitely recommend Une Jolie maison accommodation to all my friends and people thinking of visiting Sidi Bou Said.
