Clean, comfortable, stylish. Large parking. Very friendly host. He even served us a light breakfast, which is rare for an apartment. The only thing I would add is a microwave in addition to the electric grill in the apartment, but that's a minor detail. I would recommend this apartment to my friends.

We had 2 nights in 2 different rooms and they were both amazing, decorated tastefully in local Amazigh style. The grounds are expansive and there’s lots to explore: animals, plants, a great pool, swings & trampoline… my kids loved it, too! The staff is beyond friendly, it feels like one big family. The area has a lot to offer, it really is a unique place, and Dar Ayed is the perfect place to explore it from. I’d be glad if I got to stay here again. Hotels like this make me happy that there’s still a lot of personal touch and not just business motif in this field. Thank you!

It was our first time staying at a cave hotel, and I was really impressed by everything! The place has such great taste, and you can really feel the owner’s sense of style in all the little details. Not only the facilities, the dinner was fantastic as well!

The owner was very kind and welcoming, and the meals were excellent—I highly recommend having dinner at the hotel. The food was great value, especially given the limited dining options in Matmata.

It's similar to the famous Sidi Driss, only it looks much cleaner, and you don't have tourist going around. We were very glad we stayed there. Everything was very clean, much cleaner than "normal" hotels we stayed earlier in our trip. There is private bathroom, even though it's not near your room, it is dedicated to you. We stayed there in November, and we actually were the only guests. I highly recommend getting dinner there as well. The food was delicious, it was cooked right there by owners and was very good.
