However, the highlight is stepping out onto the balcony to take in the beautiful view of the swamp or lake, teeming with life. You’ll see birds gracefully walking on lily pads, catfish gliding through the water, and hear the harmonious sounds of frogs and nature. On top of that, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! Also Tong the dog is so cute ❤

The location is great, just a short 10/15teen-minute walk to the center of town, yet nestled in a peaceful, authentic neighborhood. The best way to find the homestay is to set your GPS to Wat Doi Ngam Mueang วัดดอยงำเมือง. Once you arrive at the temple, take the small downhill road to the left, and the house is immediately on your right. Staying here was a true pleasure, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area
