As soon as we looked out the window, we were treated to an incredible northern lights show – an absolutely magical welcome! The next day, Stefan took us on an amazing trip to the mountains, where we saw a herd of moose up close. Later, we explored the frozen lake and surrounding forest on snowmobiles, which was such a thrilling adventure! In the evening, we relaxed in the wood-burning sauna, which was perfect after a day out in the cold. To top it off, we went for another snowmobile ride at night, which created an incredible and almost surreal atmosphere. Stefan is a fantastic host—very welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He made sure we had the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a true Arctic adventure combined with comfort and stunning nature, Camp Caroli is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Offering a terrace and river view, Aurora River Camp Glass igloos & cabins is situated in Kiruna, 19 km from Kiruna Train Station and 17 km from Kiruna Bus Station. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. The glass igloo is an amazing experience. The igloo itself is small but functional, with a lot of hangers and "secret hidings". It also has a tiny toilet behind the bed, so you don't have to go out to the main building in the middle of the night. The igloo is located in the middle of nowhere, so from the glass (and warmth) you can admire the sky and stars or, if you are lucky as we were, the northern lights. The owner was helpful and very nice Spacious common space where simple breakfast is served in the morning

We stayed at the mini lodge for a couple of nights in late September. The place is quite cozy and convenient. The best feature of it - by far - is the view. Right in front of the lake, with only a thin line of trees. We got some pretty good views of the aurora from inside the cabin. The attached picture was taken from inside (using a tripod of course). You can literally catch the aurora while seating on the couch or on the armchair! Relatively secluded as well, as it is located at the end of the road.
