We saw the Aurora from inside the igloo. Incredible experience. You are right on the river which is frozen in Winter and so you can walk across to the Ice Hotel and a great museum/restaurant. I had a very pleasant stay in Överkalix. What was supposed to be only a stop on my drive back to Finland from Norway, really turned into a surprisingly relaxing and beautiful time.
