He loves the property and is extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area. If your are looking to just relax thst is great but if your want to explore the area he knows all the great locations and trails. The area is being modernized, but many of the locals only speak Romanian. Fabian however is fluent in english (and perhaps other languages) and is always willing to help translate. He even relayed my dinner orders to a local restaurant, so when I arrived the food was already made and the transaction was easy and smooth. Overall my stay at Tiarra mountain lodge was a wonderful experience and a highlight of my time in Romania.
