He provided us with a tour of the property upon arrival and then provided itineraries for each day based on what we wanted to see on the island via our rental car. He was available 24/7 via WhatsApp for any questions including providing a self walking tour of the Christmas lights. The rooftop bar/pool area was very nice with views of the city. Having access to free laundry on the fifth floor was very convenient. The fresh pastries on the doorknob in the morning ❤️

Perched on a cliff facing the Atlantic Ocean, this design hotel is within a renovated traditional farmhouse. Set on Madeira’s South Coast, Ponta do Sol has a stunning infinity pool and hot tub with panoramic views. Delicious breakfast, exceptional dinner and an infinite pool. For breakfast, you could choose from 5-6 warm meals (eggs, French toast, asparagus..) and a cold buffet (from cereals, croissants and local cheese to pastel de nata). The portions from the menu were smaller but in combination with the cold buffet, the breakfast was just awesome! We stayed in the with the "garden view ", however we could still see and hear the sea. The view was stunning.

The hotel itself was incredibly beautiful — from the architecture to the gardens and the breathtaking views all around. The room was tastefully decorated, every detail, from the design to the little touches, added to the overall charm. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and what really stood out was the service — friendly, helpful, and always with a smile. We felt completely relaxed, surrounded by beauty, nature, and peace. Truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. We truly didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to return to this little piece of paradise!
