The staff were ALL very friendly (and a special shout out to the lovely Mafalda who gave suggestions on what to see, answered our questions about the Portuguese language and culture, and delivered friendly smiles like warm sunshine every day without fail!) The rooms are well appointed & clean (extremely important to us!), the breakfast had a good selection each day (yes, the same foods each day, but you could select something new each day for a week without eating the same thing twice), the location is perfect (so close to beaches and a short 5-10 minute walk into town), the view is wonderful, and I miss sitting on the balcony each morning with my cappuccino enjoying the sea view and breeze with the sounds of doves cooing. The bed was comfy and the shower was great. I will definitely be back!

The room was large and clean and the staff very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

The location is unbeatable…right by the ocean, with a beautiful terrace to enjoy the view and the sound of the waves. And the breakfast is absolutely sensational. Fresh, local and delicious products, beautifully presented. As a passionate coffee lover, the only tiny thing I could wish for would be a high-end espresso machine. But honestly, that’s just nitpicking..everything else was perfect. I was warmly welcomed and greeted every morning with a smile. I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you for everything!

Amazing and welcoming staff who offered complimentary welcome drinks, upgraded our room to a room with a private courtyard, allowed late check out and it offered an honesty bar. Miguel was wonderful! Comfortable bed. Actual walk up rate can be $500 a night in high season. More than a place to sleep - a cool welcoming experience.
