The room was perfect for our needs. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom new. The hostel is very nicely decorated. The food is good (the cook makes fresh spaghetti!). Leandro was extremely helpful and good at devising excursions for us non-trekkers.

The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. If you’re lucky you can have a room with a view. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are amazing especially after a big hike, it’s very nutritious and tasty! Gloria and her family are very welcoming and helping you with whatever you need. We really recommend this place if you’re planning to come to san juan de chuccho. Oh there is also a really nice garden, where you can relax ❤️

Many walks along canyon ridge starting right from hotel. Run primarily by a very hard-working and kind and thoughtful family. Food was farm-to-table. Views are so great you should spent at least two full days there to get full appreciation. Beautiful eco lodge and amazing hospitality by the family. Thank you so much for a great experience, and for organizing a 5am cab to Chivay for us :)

They provided breakfast early enough (6am) to support our tour schedule. The walls are decorated with local culture paintings. One was being worked on while we were there. The hotel is very clean and very close to the main plaza and restaurants.

They made the stay as comfortable as possible and I felt really welcome. I could join the hostess at a local festivity in Chivay with traditional clothings and dancing. We also made such a lovely walk and saw some ancient settlements. Having a bath in the local hot springs was so lovely. The food was really good and they made me feel at home. I would definitely recommend to stay for a local, authentic and warm experience.
