The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

A terrace can be found at the lodge, along with a garden. Amazing room at Titicaca Lake at sea level 4000 meters. Uf, very peaceful and quiet, amazing sunset. But, very cold during the night. You can have a gas heater all night but we switched it off and it was really cold during the night and morning. Just to know before where you go. But the place and the breakfast was amazing.

Walter and his family really made this stay so special, they are the kindest people ever! From the moment we arrived they treated us with such care and love, Walter’s dad picked us up and dropped us off at the port, Walter took us on a private tour of the Uros Island in the traditional boats, his mom cooked the most wholesome dinner and breakfast for us, his mom also showed us her handmade artesiana, which were all so beautiful and we were able to purchase some to take a piece of them home and support this wonderful family. They made sure we were comfortable at all times, the room was spacious, had a heater for the nighttime, since it gets cold, plenty of blankets, hot showers, spectacular views, what else can you ask for?! They talked to us about their rich culture, which was impressive and it was a gift that they allowed us to take a peak into their everyday life as foreigners were not allowed back then in the Uros. Guests at the lodge can enjoy an American breakfast. It was the BEST night we spent in our one-month stay in Peru. Was expecting something basic, afterall it’s on a floating island and the price is so cheap. When we arrived, everything was perfect. The room was so nice, with a giant and super comfortable bed, super nice view of the lake, the room also comes with a cute balcony where we hung out most of the time during the day. Meals were served to our room, shower came with hot water, love every bit about the stay here that we wished we had booked for one more night.
