I had an incredible, relaxing stay at Tiki Lodge. I loved all the little touches from the tropical surf-inspired decor to the organic hand soap in the bathrooms (presented with a dehydrated orange peel). It was such an honour to be one of the first guests here (the place is spotless). My bed, the soft blue blanket, and all four pillows were super comfortable and the room has air conditioning and a fan. There is a pool (which changes lights at night) and you’re surrounded by palm trees with an all round zen feeling. Solo female travelers will appreciate that it’s on the main street just minutes walking from the beach and all the tour operators that organise trips to Coiba (they can also help you arrange tours). Breakfast is included and yummy with three available choices. This was one of those rare places that felt like home. Thank you so much everyone. I know where I’ll be staying whenever I next find myself in Santa Catalina.

This is a great home feeling place to stay in Santa Catalina. Only 3 rooms what makes it very familiar and not a big problem to share the toilet and the shower. The kitchen is very helpful to cook easy meals instead of going to restaurants. The view is amazing and you are surrounded by nature! Many local restaurants and mini markets around on a walking distance. We had a car but never needed to use it during our 3 days in Santa Catalina.

Hotel Santa Catalina Panama is set on the beach front, 20 meters from the popular surfing spot of La Punta. This property is a 12 minute walk from Playa Estero, the sandy beach in Santa Catalina.

Great location, great restaurant and pool, great staff. It is totally worthy! The rooms are spacious and clean, and it’s nice to chill in the amaca with the geckos and the iguanas. The staff is particularly friendly - ask them for tips and to book with a local tour to visit Coiba, you won’t regret it! There’s also a great selection of surfboards to get for free to try at the Playa el Estero.

The eco-friendly Coffee Mountain Inn is located in the mountain village of Santa Fe and offers a free Wi-Fi zone and some rooms with spectacular views of the rain forest and Santa Fe National Park.
