He was always around, always helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt welcome and well taken care of. From helpful advice to thoughtful little gestures, it was clear he truly cares about his guests :) And as a lovely bonus, his sweet and friendly dog added so much character and warmth to the place & made it feel even more like a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. It’s rare to find a combination of comfort, great location, and heartfelt hospitality like this. A huge thank you for such a beautiful stay!

This recently renovated guest house is located 8.9 km from Rod Carew National Stadium and 9 km from Estadio Rommel Fernandez. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. I have never experienced such kind helpful staff. Manuel goes above and beyond to help. When we arrived we were having contacting a airline to arrange a ticket refund- he could not have been more helpful and with success. Whilst in Panama we were subject to petty crime and Manuel contacted the Police and came with us to the station to make a statement . We had a bigger room . It was quiet, very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The WiFi worked well and the room had air-con. The kitchen was well equipt and we cooked a few meals. The staff will do your laundry on site for $6 a load. Excellent location- lots of shops ( food stores) and restaurants nearby. Via Argentina is a 10-15min walk. All in all we were so pleased that we chose Hostel IBRAIS - we came back for another stay! (Manuel stored our bags and had helped organise a San Blas tour)
