It is one of the closest accommodation options from the Interisland Ferry Terminal, just 2 km away. I like that they provide very decent shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Towels are plenty and there is a heat towel rack, a total luxury during cold, windy Wellington days. Their housekeeping standard is obviously very high, they make the bed even help washes the mugs and glasses.

The property is non-smoking and is located 500 metres from Waikanae Beach. Haumoana is perfect for a couple. It is very private, petite but has absolutely everything you need, brimming with cute decor and any creature comforts you might need. We stayed only one night but plan to come back. Charles provided detailed instructions on how to enter the property, helpful and clear notes for visitors.

The accommodation has a bedroom, living room, outside seating area as well as options for cooking your own food if needed and a washing machine which was a godsend! The hosts were extremely accommodating and when we used the BBQ gave us oil, lime and seasoning. Breakfast was fabulous. Best place we've stayed in New Zealand. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
