Our host Ted met us at the ferry on arrival (we had pre arranged this) and took us on a short drive to introduce us to Oban. Our studio was spacious with all the facilities needed for our 2 night stay. We arrived late afternoon to an already warm room. Views from the balcony of Half Moon Bay in the late afternoon sun were splendid. Fresh milk was provided and appreciated. The Motel is an easy walk to town and to walking tracks.
Ted and Donna were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Ted gave us tips on a shortcut to Golden Bay and pointed us to places to eat. He also took us back to the ferry when it was time to go - then went above and beyond by delivering back to me my charger and cables that I left behind.
We wholeheartedly recommend The Bay Motel.

Loved everything. Helen is an outstanding host, starting with picking us up from the ferry terminal then dropping us back. Breakfasts were superb. Assistance with tour details freely given, books offered, so much more. I have been travelling globally and this is the best I have ever experienced.
