Located in Chitwan, 1.2 km from Tharu Cultural Museum, Hotel Tree Tops- A Serene Friendly Hotel in Sauraha provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. We had a wonderful stay at the Tree Tops. The room was very comfortable and there was plenty of space. Shower was hot and the WiFi always worked! The balcony was a lovely place to relax at the end of the day. The rear window overlooked the rice fields and the sunrise and sunset views were stunning. The restaurant provided us with some of the best meals we’ve had on our journey. Tham Magar is a fabulous cook. Eating on the porch was magical and let us watch the world go by. We were not far from the high street in Sauraha but we spent most of our time exploring the local Tharu community which lies in the opposite direction. (The Tharu cultural museum in that community is well worth a visit.) Since we were in Chitwan to visit Nepalese friends, we didn’t do any of the jungle treks but there is a wealth to choose from and the owner, Mr. Dilip Poudel, and his son, Sanjay can organize those for you. (Mr. Poudel was always a wonderful source of information!) As travelers for the last few years, we believe that location and the quality of the accommodations are key. However, the heart and soul of a hotel is the owners and staff. In addition to the Poudels, Diup Chaudhary was constantly a source of kindness and support. His smile is infectious. And Rina And Sabitri made sure that everything and everyone was well cared for at the Tree Tops. Definitely a 10/10!

Had a great time at Hotel National Park mainly because of how lovely and kind the staff was. always willing to help and arrange everything for us and always doing it with a smile. Highly recommend staying there.

Tara's Guesthouse is located a little away from the village of Sauraha - a calm place to really enjoy the atmosphere of the more rural area... and spot some elefants and rhinos on the road walking by ;) A lovely garden, great people and amazing food! Vicki was a great help organizing a jungle walk, an overnight-stay in a tower in the jungle, we went biking and walked around the area. I felt at home and would come back for the food alone - if it wasn't for the amazing people we met - thanks again Vicki for the great few days we had the pleasure of staying with you and your family!

A good location for a relaxing getaway in Sauraha, Tiger Corner Inn Homestay is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the quiet street. The property features a garden, terrace and parking on-site among other facilities. A hot spring bath and a bicycle rental service are available for guests. The bed and breakfast offers an American restaurant as well as free WiFi. Amazing hosts are the biggest plus. Owner's husband is a guide, we had great day jungle walk for reasonable price. Room is clean, good food, silent location for a good sleep not far from bus station (15minutes walk ) and also to centre.
