It's close to Gate 1 I'm Sossusvlei. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, with a good view for sunset. We saw some cute jackals!

A minimarket is available at the campground. Scenic location, clean and comfortable campsite, very nice management, top communication. We were also able to buy meat for a spontaneous braai and received a lot of helpful recommendations for exploring the area. Very well located for visiting Sossusvlei. One of our favorite campsites on our roadtrip.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the luxury tent's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. I loved that that the Glamping tents were a bit away from the lodge and you could enjoy the quiet and peace there. The lodge which can also be used for Glamping guests (food, pool, WiFi) and is well equipped. Trips are also offered from the main lodge to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei.

Guests can access the campground via private entrance. Camp Gecko is one of the best memories of our trip! The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

Desert Hills Lodge is situated 35.9 km from the Sossusvlei and Sesriem section of the Namib Naukluft National Park. Offering a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Free WiFi is available in the public areas. Such an amazing place to stay. From the room, to the service to the food. Everything was flawless. I will be back to stay again

There is a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hairdryer. One night in a beautiful lodge, room was the best one we had on our 2 week holiday in Namibia. Would love to have stayed more than one night, but was cost prohibitive.

Located on the C19, We Kebi Safari Lodge offers accommodation 88 km west of Maltahohe in the Hardap Region. This property offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

Each of the free-standing, thatch-roof chalets at We Kebi have a private pavilion and an en suite bathroom with a a bath and/or a shower. Hot water is provided by eco-friendly solar heating. This place was wonderful and a great place to start off our Namibia trip. It is on a private reserve and there is a small waterhole right by the restaurant so animals can be seen up-close. The pet zebra that roams close to the lodge is great especially if you have never seen a zebra before! The room itself was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom, with every comfort in it (including very nice soaps and lotions). What was really memorable was the scent of the roof's grass all throughout the room - I loved it! Food was also good. Note that in the wet season you need a 4x4 to reach it.
