That’s why we stayed here twice: once on the way to Botswana and again on our return journey. The lodge offers various levels of comfort, including private cottages and well-equipped tents. We tried both options, and each was comfortable and enjoyable. In every case, there’s a special feeling of being close to nature. In the evenings, after dinner, the staff lights a campfire where guests can relax in the unique atmosphere. The lodge also offers boat tours on the Kavango River, perfect for watching the sunset and encountering hippos. This was truly one of the most unforgettable evenings of our entire trip. The food deserves special mention. The restaurant terrace is beautifully designed, and the dinner we had there was probably the best of our entire journey.

Namushasha River Campsite offers camping facilities near the Bwabwata National Park.

Campers have access to the main lodge’s restaurant, bar, swimming pool and activities.

The gardens are stunning and the rooms as super comfortable with quality fixtures and fittings. Stefan provided a delicious dinner at short notice and the food was delicious and well presented. We could not find fault with anything and would highly recommend !

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. This was a PHENOMENAL experience!! The property is located on the banks of the Zambezi River in a spectacular and remote location. We had to get to the property by 30-minute boat ride down an incredibly beautiful segment of the river. The property is eco-oriented and the chalets are all river facing and beautifully anointed. The staff are wonderful and the food was fabulous. The sundowner was very much worthwhile. This is a place for birders and for those who are interested in seeing the Carmine bee eaters (but on ly for a very short window).
