Plenty of room in the lobby to work and visit with others and the room was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly, I would stay again.

The stylish air-conditioned rooms include a coffee maker and flat-screen TV with cable channels. Great location near Parque de la Marimba, where you can enjoy beautiful live marimba music played by a full orchestra—it’s a wonderful experience. The rooms are clean, and there’s a small but well-equipped gym with a treadmill, bike, elliptical, and some dumbbells. Breakfast is nice, though I wish they had ketchup! Secure parking is available. The security guard was especially helpful, friendly, and spoke English. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk didn’t speak English, but she was still very kind and welcoming. Overall, a great stay.

Parador Margarita is just steps from a wide range of museums, shopping, nightlife and restaurants. The city's main bus station is just minutes away. The hotel also features transportation services to destinations in the Chiapas. I never write reviews but this hotel was so good for the money we paid (like 30€ for a double, in November) that I still can't believe it. The room was gigantic, ultra clean, with views of the mountains. The bed was ultra comfy. Bathroom was squeaky clean. The hotel itself has a rustic vibe that adds to the experience. And it's super silent. I wish we could have extended ours stay. 100% would recommend.
