Their place is around 3km from the ancient city. They have bicycles for a small fee. The road next to the lake is amazing. I loved it. The room was spacious and cozy, hot water was available. You can get AC for an extra charge but I think a fan is enough. The food mom cooks is very delicious. I had dinner and breakfast with them. They were there to help me with everything and give me information about my sightseeing. I def recommend this place!!!

I really like that Ruins Villa was away from the city itself and along a very quiet track not far from the ruins. It was such a peaceful location with lots of lush plants around. I was surprised by the canal and how beautiful it is and enjoyed seeing it while in the way to the villa. Upali is an exceptional host and I really enjoyed getting to know home and more about his place. He was so helpful and kind…I rented a bike from him to explore the ruins nearby; he took me and the bike in his run rule so I could start at the entrance and finish at the end gate which was near his place. I ate breakfast and dinner there also - delicious and healthy!
