The property is in a small village in the nature, you are really close to the village itself but the property feels like miles away and is so peaceful. The property is simple but clean and has all necessary amendities. Prasad was the best host we ever had, every question and concern or request was adressed immediately. He arranged a tranfers and safari for us for very a reasonable price. His family provides delicious breakfast and dinner if requested which was a real taste of Sri Lanka.

The hotel is very nice, clean and quiet. The room is very big with a nice small terrace in the back facing the pool. The hosts are amazing! They made our one night stay very enjoyable even though it rained so bad. We did a safari with them in block 5 and 6. The tour guide was very good.

A very beautiful place — the room was clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed. There was a lovely garden all around, a natural water reservoir nearby, and a wonderful restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and served in the restaurant in a charming setting. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful; he welcomed us with coffee upon arrival and showed us all the local attractions. I highly recommend this place!

Farm Villa Resort is a true gem in Kataragama — a fantastic resort in a lovely location, surrounded by peaceful countryside and just a short drive from Yala National Park. The villas are modern, extremely spacious, and well-equipped with Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and all essential amenities. We especially loved the beautiful swimming pool that overlooks the serene fields — the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The Sri Lankan rice and curry lunch was one of the best we've ever had — absolutely delicious and full of flavor! Every meal we had was fresh and satisfying. What made our stay truly special was the incredibly friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome and cared for from start to finish. This resort offers true value for money, and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone planning a stay in Kataragama. We will definitely return!
