This place is absolutely beautiful – the hotel is brand new and located right by the water where the waves crash against the shore. You can’t swim at the beach itself, but the pool is fantastic and perfect for relaxing with an ocean view. The chef prepared delicious meals for both dinner and breakfast – everything was fresh and full of flavor. The location is super convenient for first or last day, since it's just a 25 minute drive to the airport without the horrible Colombo traffic.

The villa's cleanliness, proximity to beautiful beaches, and Silva's attentive management exceeded our expectations. Children felt like they stayed at close relatives. Distance to Ahunalla beach 250m (6 mins walk), private beach 200m (5 mins walk), Kasgoda beach (500m, 15 walk via Buddhist monastery via mountains, steep steps), Turtle Hatching - the same direction as Kasgoda (600m), Nearest Restaurant and bars 250 meters (international cards cads accepted), if buy anything restaurant - sun bet on the beach, cheers, table, tent will be for free.
Nearest Grocery 900m - international cads accepted (15min by walk), Wineshop 1km (seeing a tourist they raise the price twice - ask show the price as it’s government shops, ask for a check).

We had a great stay! The rooms are spacious, elegant, and clean, with everything just right. The balcony was a good size and perfectly equipped, making it a great spot to relax. We had requested rooms next to each other, and the hotel team kindly arranged it. The location is truly special, one side of the hotel offers a stunning lake view, and you can walk all the way through the property to reach the beautiful beach on the other side. The pools are lovely, and the pool bar is cool. The team there is friendly, attentive, and they even remembered our previous orders, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner were excellent, offering a wide variety of tasty dishes with something for everyone. The setting, overlooking the lake, made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The selection covers most cuisines, so there's always something new and delicious to try. Overall, this hotel stands out for its thoughtful service, beautiful setting, and exceptional amenities. We would gladly return and highly recommend it!

This 5-star hotel offers room service and luggage storage space. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared lounge and free WiFi throughout the property. We were welcomed with popsicles when we arrived. Our room was massive, clean and had all the updated appliances. There was a private patio with a sun bed as well. The staff were incredible welcoming, friendly and helpful. They made the bed everyday, sometimes even twice a day, and they had all the mosquito repellents in the room and even replaced the mosquito lamps, incense and more (although we had no issues in the room probably because of that!). Breakfast selection was amazing and delicious. It was also really fun to watch the train go by in the morning during breakfast. Pool was clean and was really nice to dip in to escape the heat. Super convenient location, just walk across the railway tracks and you’re at the beach. There’s 24 hour security to open the gates for you no matter what time you come back. We started our trip here and it has been so hard to live up to those expectations. It is probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in.

Staying at the estate was one of the highlights of our visit to Sri Lanka. We are fans of the architect Geoffrey Bawa so it was a privilege to stay here. The attention to detail, the staffing, the food at this exquisite but understated property was a dream come true.
