The food was always delicious, the little girl was a clown to play with and both parents were smiling and generous people. We went on a 2 days trek with the owner and had an amazing time in the jungle, eating fresh caught fish and red ants, learning about local plant's uses and more generally about the Ratanakiri area and it's minorities. We will definitely be back sometime!

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Tribal Village Homestay & Trekking. The place is beautiful and surrounded by greenery, creating such a peaceful atmosphere. There’s no aircon, only fans, but it wasn’t needed at all since the evenings and nights were super cool—we didn’t even turn the fan on! The owner was incredibly helpful, arranging a pickup and drop-off for us and explaining the trekking options in detail. We also rented a bike from him, which was in great condition and made exploring even more enjoyable. The highlight of the stay was definitely the Khmer food cooked by his wife at their restaurant, absolutely delicious! I’m already missing it. A heads-up for future guests: there’s only cold water for the shower. It can be challenging on colder days, but it’s manageable. Also, the neighbour’s rooster starts crowing as early as 3:30 am and keeps going until around 5 am. But hey, it’s part of the charm of staying in the Cambodian countryside, just adds to the experience lol!

I absolutely reccomend you this homestay. It was the best homestay I have ever been! Everybody in this family is so kind and helpful. Ney teaches local children English and I had an opportunity to be in the class and observe and also participate. It was a great experience because I am a teacher. Ney also reccomended me what should I see in Banlung and around the city. A family offers jungle trekking. I chose trekking for 2 days. It was amazing. My guide, Patsum, is great ! He told me a lot about jungle and local life. I regret I didn't choose trekkig for more days. I also visited Mr T's restaurant. They serve so delicious food and the view from the restaurant is magnificent. I reccomend you to visit it, too !

Free WiFi is offered throughout the property. The host was very helpful, picked us up and took us to the bus at the beginning and end of our stay. Got a delicious breakfast each morning. It was in a quiet neighborhood just outside of town that was full of families and was easy to get to because we were able to rent a scooter from the Lodge. Everything was perfectly clean and the bed was comfortable.
