The surrounding gardens were peaceful and beautifully maintained, and the pool was immaculate—truly the cleanest we’ve seen across all our travels in Southeast Asia. We highly recommend Muni Residence to anyone visiting Battambang. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s an experience filled with warmth and genuine hospitality. We truly felt like part of the family.

Saro is a kind man who clearly loves his country and family. He also likes people/ and this is evident in his interactions with others. Family meal time was made all the better by our fellow guests whose company and conversation were delightful. As an ethical option, my heart is full. I felt safe, welcomed and cared for.

We stayed one night passing through Battambang and only regret not taking an extra day or two at this resort. Beautiful lake side rooms, fresh food and wonderful hosts. Very nice host, he cooked for us delicious breakfast, helped with finding a local guide to visit the city. The place is very quiet, in the great outdoors.
