Tea and coffee making facilities are in each. So special place in nice location on the Talek river, many animals around , hippos and crocodiles monkeys and more. The rooms are very clean and have all the facilities you will need. The food is superb. And the staff are very friendly and always happy to help on all what needs. It’s not my first time in Mara but it’s the best place I have ever stay in Mara.

Our game drives were unforgettable with Ken, an excellent driver who made sure we saw the Big 5! In Nairobi, John was also a great driver who took care of us very well. One of the highlights of our trip was the nature walk with Dickson – he was such a knowledgeable and engaging guide, making it an incredible experience. A huge thank you to NJ, a very patient owner who always responded to all my queries, and to Nick, who went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort, even checking in with us on our way home. Everything was so wonderful that we ended up extending our stay. We highly recommend Mara Hilltop Camp to anyone visiting the Masai Mara – you will not be disappointed!

The host was incredibly kind, very helpful, and communicated clearly throughout our visit. The place itself is spotless—clean, tidy, and exactly as described in her listing. The small kitchen had all the necessary kitchenette amenities, though we were unfortunately too tired to cook as we had just arrived from Nakuru. We also appreciated the good security. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and we would highly recommend it.

We stayed in one of their four tents and had the most incredible wildlife roaming in front of our tent or at the water in front of the main house every single day. Sammy, his right hand Jonathan and their team carried us on their hands and made sure our every need was met with a huge smile. We went on games drives in the Masai Mara with rangers Moses & Alex. Their passion for nature and their culture was tangible in the experience and the knowledge they shared priceless. The chef Julius did wonders in the kitchen & the team even surprised us with a cake and little celebration on our final evening. The experiences we have had in the last week is something we will cherish forever. We cannot wait for our next visit.

It sits down a quiet lane but is just a one-minute walk from a small supermarket, and only a five-to-ten-minute drive into Narok town. Just a heads-up: there’s no breakfast provided, so if you want something in the morning you’ll need to pick up supplies or head into town.
