Thank you so much for providing both pickup and drop-off! The owner was incredibly kind and friendly. Even though I went alone, I was able to enjoy the BBQ for 5,000 yen, and I bought some firewood separately to stay warm. The breakfast and BBQ prepared by the staff were both delicious! I visited in late October, and it was a bit chilly at night. There was a kerosene heater, but I think I set the timer wrong—it kept turning off every 10 minutes. Also, there was a slight kerosene smell. But the view was absolutely amazing, the accommodation was adorable and beautifully decorated, and the bedding was clean and comfortable. Sharing a restroom wasn’t a problem either. It would be nice to have rubber gloves for washing dishes! All the staff were very kind and helpful. If I visit Fuji again, I’ll definitely come back here and recommend this place to my friends.

I had a lovely stay at hostel MICHIKUSA-YA and was sad I only had time for one night to explore the beautiful area. There is an epic view of Mt Fiji from the lounge. The host was very kind and helpful. He even found my JR rail pass and forwarded it to my next hostel for me. Very grateful! Thank you!

The accommodation offers free shuttle service and luggage storage space for guests. loved the view from the lobby, breakfast, room size was spacious, open air bath on the patio, view of the lake and mountain from the room. it exceeded my expectations because the view was fabulous, and i was nervous that the images of the 'room' had so many variations i was scared i wouldnt get a private bath view of the volcano, but when we walked into the room I was so happy! it was clear and beautiful each morning and night to sit in the bath and just stare at the view. It was a perfect place to get away from the busy city and just relax in nature

It is only a 2-minute walk from a ferry stop, where guests can board sightseeing cruises. Free WiFi is offered in all areas. We had a fantastic time at Konsano. The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!
