They had a cancellation for a suite the night we got there so they gave us an upgrade free of charge. I got a delicious, special vegan breakfast (aswell as a regular breakfast for my boyfriend) served to our doorstep in the morning. The hotel is a quick 10min taxi away from the Hirosaki park & castle. The staff and owner were extremely kind to us, we would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

Everything was perfect, the room is simple but very nice, the shower area clean and spacious, you can have access to a kitchen and common room space. The staff was really nice, even helped me call my next accommodation to solve a problem, and the café seemed lovely. I would have stayed another night in Matsushima for the hostel. It's also very close to the station and I walked easily to the marina bay and the temple.
