Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! A really great place to stay. The tatami rooms are lovely, we had the most wonderful autumn colours right outside our window. Fabulous. We also really enjoyed the veg. Curry in the evening.

Miyajima Hotel houses a soothing hot public bath, a souvenir shop and free-use laundry facilities. Drinks vending machines are on-site, and free parking is available. Amazing experience in a traditional style with a modern comfort. The hotel is located in a quiet place ~20 mins walk from the ferry port. It may sound far but the hotel provides the shuttle bus as often as you need. We were prepared for the ryokan rules about the shoes, so it wasn’t a surprise for us. The traditional room is very beautiful, clean, looks better in real life than on the pictures. Nice view from the window, I even saw an eagle on the tree. The hotel staff is extremely polite and helpful. Usually the staff set up the bed after the dinner but they set it up for me when I asked for a day nap. The dinner and breakfast servings is extraordinarily. Nice choice of exclusive souvenirs, especially loved the Momiji manju cookies, the ones from the hotel are MUCH better than the ones from the shopping street. In general, I highly recommend to stay here at least for 1-2 night for better exploration of Miyajima without rush.

Great location in Miyajima, close to the ropeway and temples, short walk from the ferry (with a shuttle available) The staff was spectacular, the suite with the open air bath was gorgeous. It's my second time staying there and I'll be back.

Located right in front of Miyajima Aquarium and a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine's exit, Mizuhasou offers accommodations in a modern yet traditional décor. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire building. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 15-minute walk away. All the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was very tasty . I recommend it all.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The ryokan features family rooms. Family-owned and operated 4-room ryokan on top of a lunchtime restaurant. Stay included amazing kaiseki dinner of local seasonal ingredients and delicious japanese breakfast (we did not try the continental one). Japanese-style room was of decent size for Japan. Family was very welcoming and helpful. Surroundings and weather turned this great stay into a magical one.

Bettei Fujiya features a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within 26 km of Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 26 km of Atomic Bomb Dome. The accommodation features a spa bath and a private open-air bath. The accommodation offers a sauna, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. We had an incredible stay! This location is a bit outside of Hiroshima, but very easy to get to by cab or train. The facilities were beautiful, and our room was comfortable with very thoughtful amenities and a beautiful private onsen. The main lobby has bountiful snacks and an incredible sake selection, as well as tons of other beverages that we could help ourselves to as we pleased. Both of our meals were so delicious, much more food than we were able to eat, and our whole party got to share a private dining room with an open hearth. This was truly a wonderful experience, and I would recommend anyone to book here and make the trip!
