This hotel was basically a whole wellness experience dream come to life! The staff were so nice and friendly, and the amenities were everything you could possibly need and more. The onsens were beautiful, immaculate and clean - and the hotel breakfast was definitely one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The late night soba hit the spot and the snacks were endless (popsicles, yakult, drinks in the lobby machine). Also loved the super comfortable yukatas and pjs that the hotel provided. It’s easily walkable distance from a JR station (just one stop away from Kyoto station), and there are multiple bus stops within a 5-10 minute walk that can take you all over Kyoto. It’s across the street from a 7-11, and right next to one of the prettiest parks!

And literally across the street from the 7/11 and other convenience stores and small restaurants where you can get something quick to eat. Incredibly well maintained, beautiful, well designed rooms, super clean with excellent amenities (free toiletries and slippers). The staff are lovely and helpful and most of time at least one on the team available speaks English. If not, we got by with our google translate app. Skip the coffee you make yourself in your room and head to the drink counter in the lobby open from 6:00 - 11:00 AM. It’s free and way better.
