400 metres from Otaru Station, Guest House 来夢 is a recently renovated property situated in Otaru and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. The property has city views and is 18 km from Otarushi Zenibako City Center and 36 km from Sapporo Station. The accommodation provides a shared kitchen and luggage storage space for guests. The proximity of the guest house was very close to the station, and the host and hostess, Funa and Kimi were extremely kind and helpful. The introduction to their guest house was very thoroughly, and made sure everyone was warm after traveling through the winter snow and temperature. Not only were the hosts very friendly and willing to chat, but they even provided and help make reservations at recommended restaurants! When I asked where I could find a furoshiki I could purchase for a souvenir, Kimi kindly offered one she had for me to take home as a souvenir! I had a great time chatting with them while waiting for my train to the next destination. They were even helping some other guests with translation of medical documents due to an injury received while skiing. Funa and Kimi are the perfect host to anyone staying in Otaru! I stayed in the Japanese style room and wish I could have stayed longer. Next time I go to Otaru, there's no doubt I'll be staying with them again!

The laundry room came with a lot of hangers which really facilitates the conveniences. The location is not too far from the city center. I loved that there are 7Eleven and Family Mart within few blocks from the property.
