Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! The guesthouse was very clean, spacious and offered an included light evening meal and breakfast. The kitchen was spotless and every detail taken care of. The property was in a good location and the staff were friendly and helpful. Costs were very reasonable for what was offered and I recommend the guesthouse and would stay there again.

The property is non-smoking and is located 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple. We stayed one night during our 2-day biking tour on Shimanami Kaido. Location was perfect: close to some good restaurants and basically on the bike route. We stayed in a mixed dorm, which was very clean and well-organised. Common shower rooms were very clean. The luggage transfer to our next stop (which was the bike rental in Imabari) worked perfectly.

The room and facilities were clean, good smelling, comfortable. Honestly, you get way more than you pay for. If I'll ever be around seto naikai again, I'll be sure to come back!!

The relaxed atmosphere helped after riding the Shimanami Kaido International Cycling event.
