We really enjoyed the public onsen which was really clean and had all the amenities. For a small extra charge, you can also make a reservation for the private onsen at the reception. Highly recommend! One of the best places we stayed in Japan.

The reception staff speak fluent English, which made the check-in process smooth and easy from the start. The dorm rooms are large and very spacious, with plenty of room to organize luggage. Each guest has a big locker and a dedicated space to hang clothes, which is very convenient. The shower facilities are also spacious and spotless, and the kitchen and common areas are equally clean and comfortable. Overall, it offers excellent value for money and is a perfect choice for staying in Takayama.
