Located on the side of a hill about 1km from town, this place enjoys amazing views over the town and the colorful sandstone that hides the Petra ruins. All the staff were excellent – friendly and welcoming. Our room was large and airy with a balcony that has an amazing panoramic view over the town. The mini-fridge was a nice bonus and the AC worked very well. We ate our dinners at the lodge which comprised home-cooked traditional meals, delicious and filling. The breakfasts were OK as well.

The team were incredibly friendly and helpful when we had questions about visiting Petra/little Petra, and there’s parking onsite if you have a car. The roof terrace was a big plus, amazing views and a nice place to hang out after a long day exploring Petra! We had a deluxe double room and it was spacious and comfortable.

Our driver Mohammed was gracious enough to go out of his way and return my headphones I had left in his cab. The service at this camp is exceptional!

Spectacular view of the canyon from my front porch. Large room with large tiled shower and plenty of hot water despite being so remote. Hosts were great and really surprised this place was not full given the amazing location and value. I could not be more pleased
