This hotel was excellent in every aspect: from check-in, to the room itself, to our meals at the restaurant, we were all around satisfied. It appears as if the Fosshotel chain has hit on a magic formula for travelers in Iceland. Our waitress in the evenings was simply excellent.

Enjoyed the outdoor hot bath, which the property also offers indoor sauna (but note operational at selected timings only). The room is lovely with a window overseeing the 'boat on the dock'. There is a common area for people to gather and chat, with central heating in the centre. The breakfast buffet was great too, served in the restaurant, and you get to enjoy nice views as well ... however, they close the restaurant when breakfast is over, meaning all patrons will be asked to adjourn elsewhere. The bar is open in the evenings, but pretty pricey so go easy on the alcohol :)

The staff was amazing too. We were running late for dinner at the hotel and the restaurant was going to close by the time we got there. Parking on-site is available and the apartment also features car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. the place is very clean, luxurious, spacious, cozy. had great time cooking in here. wished to have more time staying in here.

Very clean and comfy, quiet and has a great view, as well as a small patio, so a great place to relax. Close to the ring road and F35 which access the highlands. You can make small meals and coffee in the accommodation. Highly recommended.
