We were traveling around Iceland and this horel was the best one. Hotel is located in wonderful nature by the lake, but only few minutes drive from Egillstadir. Staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh.

This is an apartment that deserves 20 not 10. Not clean but impecable, sparkling clean. The view was amazing, the beds very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, you find anything you need. If we would ever come back definitely we would come back here. Amazing amazing amazing! Worth every penny.

The host was charming and very welcoming. The dinner was excellent, the chef is a real talent. The peace of the area, a bit fewer folks up this way. The views. The cute chapel on site. The very interesting history of the property.

As we were driving by the airport, we saw these strange looking houses on the other side of the lake and were hoping we would be staying in one of those. It was the case. We managed to get in super easily thanks to the code provided. We were lucky to have a nice and sunny day which added points to the amazing view. The kitchen is well equiped and the bathroom is correct.

Beautiful private room with a balcony. Staff was super friendly. The adjacent spa is small, but intimate, offering hot pools, cold bath and three different types of saunas. Last but not least, the resort offers food and drinks at their restaurant (including beers from the local brewery). We loved our stay here!

What a beautiful guest house. Easily the nicest place that we stayed at during our trip around Iceland. We wish we had stayed a little longer here.

We loved this apartment, it was more like a house with its two floors. Especially considering how tiny places are in Iceland & it was good value. Spacious, comfortable, quiet, very nicely furnished & well equipped (though a microwave would have been good). Good view over the village & mountains. We didn’t meet the owner but the notes were fine
