It's really clean, for sure the best hostel I went so far in India. Staf and volunteers are available and super friendly. They have a very conveniant café opened from morning to evening. They also have a parking to park car or bike. Beach is right next to the hostel. Well located between Pondi and Auroville. Best price value so far for me for an hostel

It is a haven in the old Tamil quarter, but easily to walk to the beachfront and White town. Food is lovingly prepared. Great Bfast, juices, eggs, dosas, idlis, pastries and fruit, and great coffee. The building is 150yrs old and has been beautifully restored, plants surround you, everything is made with wood and local materials, and my first time staying in a hotel where there is no plastic. The bed and room was beautiful, everything so clean. The staff are so friendly and professional we did not want for anything. Thank you Barti, Jayson,Elby, Sami Sunil and all the staff.
