Our stay in the Choudhury Manor was very comfortable. The rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures. The owner Mrs Lipi Choudhury was lovely, she made sure we had everything we needed. She was very helpful with mandir darshan arrangement, also suggested local stores for us to shop from. The whole flat is spread out in a huge area. The bedroom, drawing hall, dining hall, common hall are all very spacious. The Kitchen had everything required for cooking including microwave oven & fridge. Uttam cooked delicious food for us as per our choice, it was tasty and healthy like homemade food, it was a relief for us while travelling. Madhav was very sweet and arranged everything we asked for. We enjoyed their hospitality a lot. The homestay location is pretty convenient. Uber cab was available even at 3am for airport. It is next to the market, has medicine store, grocery store right in front. Daily fresh vegetables are available on the gate itself. Guwahati medical College and hospital is hardly 300 metres. Starbucks and all major shops in the area are nearby within 1.5 kms. Anyone looking for a comfortable homestay with kitchen in a reasonable price in Guwahati should look no further and book this homestay.

My husband and I planed to stay for three nights and we extended two more nights. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a great atmosphere. It felt really cozy as soon as we walked in. Also, we had a little patio right outside of our room where we would worked and drank tea when we were not doing safaris. The food was AWESOME - we ordered smoked pork curry, smoked pork fried rice, pasta with red sauce and white sauce, dal fry, boiled veggies. Everything was just delicious all the time and it came with a very good serving too. You don't want to miss the breakfast either. My husband usually didn't care about getting up early for breakfast but he did for Nature Hunt's breakfast. ALSO, the most important of all for us, was that the manager, Aovick, and all the assistants and servers WERE INCREDIBLE! We arrived really late the first night, and Aovick thought ahead and ordered dinner for us so we were welcomed by tasty, warm food. Aovick was just such a warm-hearted, funny, helpful, thoughtful person. He is both professional and accommodating. He asked someone to picked us up at the highway late at night, he let us extend within a short notice, he arranged safaris for us, he asked someone to wave down a van to go to Jorhat on the highway with us, he asked if we wanted to join other guests at the campfire. He thought of our needs before we did. All the staff was also all really friendly all the time and were always there to help. It was always so pleasant to interact with them.
