Terimakasih homestay is situated in Pulau Mansuar and offers a private beach area, a garden and a terrace. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Simply the best homestay we visited in Raja Ampat, it has an extra touch overs the other homestays: walking paths are well kept, every room has it's water outside, the restaurant deck on the water is wonderful, rooms are new with a mesmerizing view. House reef is one of the best we have seen in RA (just pay attention to the currents!). Moreover Mario is an excellent host and helps create a great atmoshpere, he has several boats and offers the chepeast tours around.

Set in Kri in the West Papua region, Eddo Homestay features a balcony and sea views. The property has quiet street views. The accommodation offers free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a traditional restaurant. Atcho was great host for us. He was super helpful, good discussions, came with us snorkling, great resource for the homestay. Food was excellent by the cook, varied from night to night. Bathrooms in bungalow was new and large, open. Good lounges to chill on.

Located in Waisai and only 2.7 km from Waisai Torang Cinta Beach, Raja Ampat Koba-koba Guest House provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. This guest house offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. Guests can make use of a garden. Fellow travelers, this is an absolute bargain, trust me! Pedro is as nice as a host can be, always paying attention to the details so that we had the best experience we could. The accommodation, although not in the centre of Waisai, is not far and the porch has outstanding views of the bay. Moreover, the bed is comfortable and big, the bathroom is well equipped and the AC brings a luxurious touch compared to some of the other guest houses. In terms of the food, they serve both breakfast and dinner included in the price and they're both varied and delicious. If you want to have a beer watching the sunset, you can also buy them directly from Pedro. Finally, he rents motorbikes and happens to know all the necessary people to make the experience of Waisai truly complete. To sum up, this place exceeded our expectations and we feel that it will be much busier once more reviews will pop up, as he only opened it in August 2025.

The property was built in 2024 and features air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. The accommodation features an ATM and private check-in and check-out for guests. Pedro and his family were very lovely and helpful! The room was comfortable, A/C worked great, no "hot" showers but with the outside temperature the "cold" water was so warm anyway that you don't need "hot" water. We didn't realize when booking that the family not only provides breakfast (which was delicious and filling) but also dinner! They catered for vegetarians and made us a vegetarian dinner which was lovely. The views from the deck outside the room are great, perfect place for an evening beer or a game of cards, or just relaxing and reading a book. They have a little fridge where you can store some drinks or snacks, or you can buy beers from them if you'd prefer! The location is a bit out of the way from the main area of town, but they rent scooters if you want to get around, or it's easy to organize an ojek (moto taxi) to get where ever you need to be. There's also a convenience store a short 10-15 minute walk down the hill.

Facing the seafront in Yennanas Besir, Efenli Arnes homestay has a private beach area and a terrace. This holiday home offers free private parking and full-day security. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. I had an amazing stay at Efenli Arnes Homestay - the location is beautiful, and the staff is so helpful and kind. The reef right outside the homestay was great for snorkeling, and Arnes also took us on a snorkeling tour to Cape Kri and Friwen Wall which were amazing spots. It is a warm and convivial atmosphere with other travelers, I wish I had stayed longer!

Offering sea views, Amfriwen Homestay in Yennanas Besir offers accommodation, a private beach area and a garden. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The guest house features family rooms. I booked 8 days here. I went diving for three days on the Pulau Gam and snorkeled daily on Friwen. They are about a 10 mins boat ride. The Homestay is rustic. There are two beds covered with mosquito net. They are totally fine but somehow one would get in every night. It’s an island at the equator, there are mosquitoes. Also geckos! That’s part of the adventure. The room has an interior slide lock and there’s a clipping lock with a key for locking when you’re away. Honestly I never locked my place. The island seems very safe. Kids playing, most of the folks on the island are involved in tourism, though they don’t speak much English. It wasn’t an issue. I traveled solo and spent most afternoons in the hammock, reading, writing or napping. The food was amazing, delicious, the cook is very sweet and calls you to breakfast, lunch and dinner. The fresh fish is caught daily. Vegetables and rice, very delicious and all included. Large quantities. Box lunches are available if you are diving all day. Bananas are snacks. Unlimited instant coffee, tea, hot water. The island is stunning. Sunsets amazing. The reef has more life to see while snorkeling than most places (Europe, Caribbean, US, Latin America) have to see while scuba diving! I saw turtles, squid, dolphins playing, reef sharks and millions of coral. A not about cash and other fees: you will need ~140,000 to take a ferry from Sorong to Waisai. Then you’ll need 600,000 to ride each way from Waisai to Friwen (this can be divided with others, provided there are other riders.). On Waisai, you’ll have to buy a Marine Park pass and an entry pass, in total 1,000,000. So you’ll need around 2,250,000 in cash (be prepared bc the pass can be purchased online, or card but sometimes their system is down and you have to pay cash). In Sorong airport there are four ATMs, most of them don’t work well. There are ATMs on Waisai but you have to ride a motorcycle to them. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
