We traveled around Bali for four weeks and this was one of the best places we stayed. The breakfast was delicious (please try benedict) one of the best we had in Bali. Also, the restaurant for dinner is great, I tried risotto and it was perfect. An air-conditioner was placed in the room entrance which is rare in Bali and is a big plus. Extremely beautiful room, kimonos, a water refill, and the bathroom was new and clean. We had a room on the second floor with a balcony and comfy sunbeds to relax before sleep. The pool is big, you can use lounges there and near the see for free (towels provided). Nearby there are a lot of beach clubs, open-air cinemas and restaurants.

We had great stay here, so peacefully, great food, so much kind and nice stuff that we were sad to leave. Rooms are clean, bed is comfy, AC is great and ambient of this resort is WOW❤️

Service, food, location, price, room design, staffs, atmosphere...everything is PERFECT! We stayed at El Tropico during Christmas, booked 2 different types of room - one with bathtub and one without. El Tropico gave a free upgrade to the room of my partner's mom to the same type as a little X'mas gift. This is a sweet surprise and very heartwarming! Service was impeccable!! From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth. Staffs are super friendly and polite, every single staff went above and beyond to make your stay filled with happiness and unforgettable. 2 thumbs up for Wahyu (Front Desk "Santa Claus"), Egis, Sa, Dede, Fikri, Putri..... and all other staffs who we didn't have enough time to get their names. Thank you sooooo much for the top notch service. Food and drinks - yum yum yum. We had cocktail happy hour everyday by the pool. Breakfast - you have a menu to choose from but the options basically covers everything you want for breakfast, portion is big. Don't miss the smoothie bowl and avocado toast!! Choose the package with breakfast, you won't regret. They have 3 very clean swimming pools - a long one on the roof top which we stay everyday, less people and there are some cabanas for hotel guests, more chill out atmosphere. If you prefer some music, the ground floor big pool is fantastic, don't worry, it's not loud, just giving you a bit of tropical groove feel. The 3rd one is on the other building of the hotel. I am not a big fan of semi-open or open ceiling bathroom because I am afraid of geckos, which is almost unavoidable in Indonesia. Our bathroom is the semi-opened ceiling type, it's HUGE with a bathtub! I was a bit worried during check-in but Wahyu assured me there will be NO geckos in the bathroom/bedroom. I was so surprised during our 5 nights stay, I didn't see any gecko in the whole resort at all!!!

I forgot the name of the kind woman serving breakfast and the woman who helped my out by arranging the taxi on Lombok and Nena for sure, doing everything she can help to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I extended my stay for one night and was even able to stay in the luxurious room! The Pool is amazing, the suprises are very nice, it is next to the beach, the food is amazing. I know it is a bit more expensive, but for me very well worth it!

We had our best food here, and we tried quite a lot at other places. The beach was the best on the island, the pool was great as well.
