To get there, you’ll need to take a small local boat that runs every five minutes for just 10Q. This adds an extra touch of charm and adventure to your stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. While the WiFi is typical for Guatemala—not very strong—it’s enough for basic needs around 5-6 Mbps Overall, it’s a wonderful experience for those looking to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the lake and the warmth of local hospitality. From the moment I arrived, every single person working at the property was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Their hospitality truly made me feel at home. The view of the lake is absolutely breathtaking — waking up to that peaceful scenery was one of the highlights of my trip. What truly made my stay extra special were the lovely pets around: I forgot the name of the sweet little cat, but she totally stole my heart, and Lola, the adorable dog, was always there for some cuddles and joy. This place is more than just a stay — it’s an experience filled with warmth, charm, and genuine care. I totally recommend it and would come back in a heartbeat!

The best hotel where we have been in Guatemala. The common areas and the rooms are extremely clean and super nicely set up, with all what you need, from fan to blanket. Dimensions of accommodation is also much better than average. Position is a bit outside the village but I loved it as it’s quiet and overlooking the lake. The staff went above and beyond. Always friendly, discreet but ready to help. we ordered dinner and got amazing food freshly cooked. A fab place where I’d love to stay again if I come back.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Bolontiku Boutique Hotel Member of the Cayuga Collection is located 15 minutes by boat from Flores Island. We absolutely loved this property—it was the perfect place to stay during our trip! The views of the lake are breathtaking, and the tranquil atmosphere made our stay so enjoyable. One of the highlights was having access to water equipment like kayaks, which were included in the stay—such a great perk for exploring the lake. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, especially after reading some of the previous reviews. Out of curiosity, we spoke to the hotel staff about the feedback, and they mentioned they’ve been working hard to improve. It shows! The included breakfast was absolutely delicious and gave us the perfect start to our day. The staff were wonderful—always friendly and eager to help. Getting around the property was seamless, as we never had to wait for a golf cart to take us to our room. Overall, this property exceeded our expectations. From the stunning views to the thoughtful amenities and excellent service, it was a truly memorable experience. Highly recommend it!

Staying in the jungle in very comfortable and cozy bungalows. near flores town we also saw a crocodile in its natural environment. they also have a swimming pool and a very good restaurant. highly recommend

This charming hotel is located in northern Guatemala’s Petén Jungle, on the shores of Lake Petén. It offers fantastic trips to the Mayan Ruins of the Tikal National Park. The location in a natural reserve with a private beach is exceptional. The facilities are very well kept and staff go above and beyond to make your stay in the hotel and experience in Peten a trip to remember. Kevin Guerra from the reception orgsnized fantastic tours for my family, the service providers were excellent.
