Situated on the seafront in Flores and boasting a private beach area, Posada Don Julio has free WiFi. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The rooms have a patio with lake views. Lesbia and Julio are very warm and welcoming hosts. They made me feel like at home, we had nice conversations and it was a great pleasure to stay with them for some days. My room was huge with a big balcony directly above the water - very cool! The location is not in the Flores Island but in San Miguel - so if you search for a calmer non touristic area that's your choice! From Flores it is easy to arrive with a small boat in about 5 mins. Also recommended to book the tour to Tikal etc. and transports with them, they offer for a good price. And it is helpful to know some Spanish as their English is limited (but Julio is learning!) 😊 muchas gracias 🥰

The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. We had a wonderful stay at Sun Breeze, with our 3 young children. Umberto & his wife are really friendly , welcoming & helpful. They made our stay very enjoyable & comfortable. The beds are great & the outdoor shared kitchen & dining area are good for preparing meals. I would recommend staying here.

Zapote Tree Inn is located less than 16 minutes from Flores' airport and 4 minutes away from Flores island by boat, located at a privileged point to appreciate sunsets and sunrises overlooking the island and the lake. The Guatemalan man who works there is incredible. I wish I had caught his name. He was so nice and helpful during our short stay there. A very peaceful hotel with views of the water and a lush garden. I didn't see any toucans but my partner saw one perched next to one of the rooms in the morning. We had the traditional dinner with eggs, fried plantains, beans, cheese, toast and fruit- it was delicious! We had the same for breakfast and it was the perfect meal to get us through Tikal. The prices for the room and the food was all reasonable. There is an extra charge to use AC but that's across the board in the area. Highly recommend!

This modern hotel is situated right on Peten Itza Lake and offers free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Es una preciosidad de hotel. We are so glad we decided to book this hotel because we didnt know Flores and thought that maybe not staying in Flores wasn't a good idea... but couldnt be more happy. Flores is caotic so having this oasis just a boat away for us was the best choice. We rested in a double room with two gigantic beds... swam in the pool, relaxed in the hotel and then they offer boat transfer to Flores at no cost. LUXURY TOTAL. But the best of the hotel is the staff. They are ALL VERY VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. There is also clothing cleaning at not cost.

A very tranquil location amongst the rain forest. The staff where excellent, rooms spacious and very comfortable, a great gym for a small hotel and just a nice place to chill.
