Posada Don Julio is a fantastic place to stay, offering breathtaking views of the lake. The house is practically on the water, creating a serene and unique atmosphere. The family running the posada is incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s important to note that the house is not located in Flores itself but on the opposite side of the lake. To get there, you’ll need to take a small local boat that runs every five minutes for just 10Q. This adds an extra touch of charm and adventure to your stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. While the WiFi is typical for Guatemala—not very strong—it’s enough for basic needs around 5-6 Mbps Overall, it’s a wonderful experience for those looking to immerse themselves in the tranquility of the lake and the warmth of local hospitality. Highly recommended!

Humberto was super helpful with organizing transport for us and answering questions about the area. Very clean, well stocked kitchen. Nice hammock on the porch, with a view of the lake. Huge comfortable bed. Good value for money.

Really amazing hotel, well decorated, nice jungle, surrounded by lake, monkey, birds, nature and probably crocodile. It's a magic place and I love it so much. The size of the room is huge too.
