This wonderful boutique hotel shows the care taken in renovating a large family home as a hotel, with lots of attention to detail and comfort. Things just work right in the rooms. For example, the evenings are very quiet even in rooms facing the busy street because of well installed and sealed windows. For three nights, we had a good-sized room with two beds and an ample bathroom, with a surprising amount of wardrobe storage. Breakfast was great, including eggs to order and a lot of variety. Also, the location near the central fountain and downtown Kutaisi was perfect. Best of all, Tecla is a superb host making sure all is just right for her guests. We felt treated like family.
