The tunnocks and milk were a lovely touch and it was nice to have low level lamps and not just bright overhead lights like a lot of rooms. It was below zero when we stayed and snow outside but the room was very toasty! We will definitely book again next time we're up.

The lovely hosts are always trying to improve these already excellent cabins by adding more thoughtful details. I loved the skylight above the bed. Best light for reading. Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!
