We all enjoyed the swimming pool after a long day travelling. We decided to have the food at the property and were not disappointed - we got to enjoy local cuisine and local wine too. This historic home is a most special accommodation to stay. Dating back to the 15 hundreds, it has been expertly restored. The spacious rooms are tastefully decorated. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the linens crispy and clean. We arrived on bicycles and were able to check in early since our room was ready. There is a large secure area for bike parking with outlets for e-bikes. We were made to feel very welcome.
